RARE EARTH DESIGN STUDIO has a range of jewellery that includes hand-made traditional to individually sculpted modern pieces.
As manufacturers, we have been based on the NSW Central Coast for over 25 years. During this period we have been producing jewellery for exclusive Sydney CBD retailers. We have assisted these retailers in areas of design, product development and manufacture. Having trained the next generation in the craft we decided to open RARE EARTH DESIGN STUDIO specializing in individually designed handcrafted jewellery. A family owned and operated business; the studio allows our designers and crafts people to fully explore their own ideas.

Members of our team:
Burt Muller was the youngest Australian designer to win a DeBeers design award in 1981. Over the following years he has worked on a number of award winning designs for exclusive jewellery retailers, he is their go-to jeweller for design consulting for that special piece of jewellery that needs the expert touch. Burt was invited by Macquarie University (through Meredith Brice) to create a piece for exhibition at their art gallery as part of the Contemporary Gallipoli exhibition. Having finished its time at Macquarie University the exhibition is now touring Australia. Beth Muller trained with Burt and has become a vital member of the RARE EARTH DS team. Beth has now truly spread her wings with the BethCarina collection. She was invited by Vogue UK to be in their magazine and has appeared in a number issues. Beth has was invited to attend the gifting suite for the Academy Awards in February 2019. There are photos of this on the BethCarina site. Jennifer Hill is the member of the team that you will most likely be communicating with if you contact RARE EARTH DESIGN STUDIO. She is a qualified manufacturing jeweller and has many years’ experience in the jewellery trade. This means that you will be communicating with a person who not only understands gemstones but also how jewellery is made. Jens contribution is pivotal in the business, coordinating production, working as a design consultant, and manufacturing jewellery. |
